| Generalities and notes about the usage | The message is issued by the Apparel Producer to purchase fabric articles.
Three types of order are possible: - 'standard', when the order is completely defined - 'blanket', when some of the data are left out for subsequent definition (eg. colour) - 'call off', when it defines and closes a 'blanket order' The 'standard' and the 'call off' order is an authorization to ship and invoice well defined fabric articles in well defined quantities, dates, locations and prices.The 'blanket' order provides the anticipation of some data to the supplier. |
